Description

Spend a few hours in the Moxie & Oliver studio and take home a guest book, journal, sketchbook or book/bible cover that you made yourself! No prior experience is necessary.

During this workshop students will learn how to permanently and beautifully add color and pattern to vegetable tanned leather, and will learn simple and durable hand-sewing techniques as well as how to add hardware. Students will start with a pre-cut piece of leather to personalize with their choice of pattern and color.  Students are encouraged to bring sketches and ideas of the design that they wish to put on the piece.

Our classes are small (four to six students) and held in our Kenmore area working leathercraft studio. Come ready to learn, and to become thoroughly addicted to your new hobby! Come with questions, and leave with your very own leather book that you made yourself!
