Description

Our Moleskine Journal Kit is cut from a hide of full-grain vegetable tanned leather and we hand-punch the stitching holes and apply a snap closure by hand.  The kit includes everything you need to complete it (leather parts, needle, thread, and instructions) and can be left raw or decorated with a pattern of your choosing.  Holds a large hardbound Moleskine.

You can add color and pattern to this kit using paints, traditional leathercraft tools, pyrography, permanent markers, dyes and even stamps (with permanent ink. You can even leave it raw and let the vegetable tanned leather age and develop it's own patina. The possibilities are endless!
