Madrid Tote

$525.00

The last trip we took, before succumbing to the pandemic grounding, was to New Mexico and the landscape still sticks with me. On a cold spring day I find myself looking at homes in the hills outside of Albuquerque, hoping that maybe there is a ready-to-go artist retreat space that also miraculously has decent schools for the kids. Until then, though, the imagined and remembered pieces of this beautiful place will make their way into my work.

As with each of my pieces, this piece is handcrafted from full-grain vegetable tanned tooling leather that I cut, brand, paint and dye by hand before applying a protective topcoat. It is hand-stitched using a waxed nylon thread and a saddle stitch. It has a zippered closure and two handles.

Dimensions: 11” tall by 14” by 2”

This sweet purse is perfect for every-day. Large enough to carry all of your necessities and light enough that it won’t weigh you down.
