Emily Guitar Strap

$145.00

Inspired by the Emily Dickinson poem, "Hope is the thing with feathers" the Emily guitar strap has woodpecker feathers set against a woodgrain background with a little red heart worked in. This strap makes a wonderful addition to any instrument. It comes in two styles to work with both acoustic and electric guitars (as well as your banjo, bass or dobro!).

I start with a tooling leather and then cut, carve, paint, and dye it, and then apply a protective coat to keep it safe from the elements. The colors are colorfast and permanent, and because I use the highest quality tooling leather the strap will soften as you use it and it will last for a lifetime.

STRAP OPTIONS: Standard strap is 2.5” wide. See the last photo for the two layouts.

Symmetrical (top): Symmetrical strap, adjustable at both ends. Can be used with banjo, guitar, bass, or dobro. Adjusts from 45-58"

Traditional (bottom): Tapered at one end. This strap works best for guitars. Adjusts from 38" to 52"

Color: White, black, red and antique black.
