Santa Fe Guitar Strap
Celebrating the flora and fauna of the high desert, the Santa Fe Guitar Strap has cactuses, sage brush, daisies and a little hummingbird and a dragonfly.
I start with a tooling leather then cut, brand, paint, and dye it, and then apply a protective coat to keep it safe from the elements. Because I use a thick tooling leather, it will soften up quickly but maintain it's shape and will last for many years (I've seen ones 40 years old with life still left in them made from the same type of leather). All sides of the strap have been dyed and protected, too, so the dye won't redeposit on clothes or instruments.
STRAP OPTIONS: Standard strap is 2.5” wide. See the last photo for the two layouts.
Symmetrical (top): Symmetrical strap, adjustable at both ends. Can be used with banjo, guitar, bass, or dobro. Adjusts from 45-58"
Traditional (bottom): Tapered at one end. This strap works best for guitars. Adjusts from 38" to 52"
Colors: yellow, white, turquoise, brown, shades of green, gold, red and antique black
