Revisions Guitar Strap
A study in changes. Each color on the Revisions Guitar Strap represents a new evolution, and over these last few years we’ve gone through many. Each individual butterfly is hand-cut, painted and dyed and then stitched to the guitar strap. The background has a pattern that is simply burned with flowers and vines to create texture and depth.
I start with a tooling leather then cut, brand, paint, and dye it, and then apply a protective coat to keep it safe from the elements. Because I use a thick tooling leather, it will soften up quickly but maintain it's shape and will last for many years (I've seen ones 40 years old with life still left in them made from the same type of leather). All sides of the strap have been dyed and protected, too, so the dye won't redeposit on clothes or instruments.
STRAP STYLE: Standard strap is 2.5” wide. See the last photo for the two layouts.
Traditional (bottom): Tapered at one end. This strap works best for guitars. Adjusts from 38" to 52"
